Dr. Heidi Gahr

Hello, my name is Dr. Heidi Gahr. I earned my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Chicago Campus and have been a licensed psychologist in Wisconsin since 2009. I am also a mediator and strongly believe that, with assistance, many divorcing couples can reach agreements outside of a courtroom setting.

My clinical interests have solely focused on working with children, adolescents, and families. I have provided psychological evaluations, juvenile risk assessments, and child/family psychotherapy services in a variety of clinical settings to clients from a wide range of cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds.

I am committed to providing comprehensive, competent, and compassionate services. I strive to achieve a positive and collaborative relationship with my clients as well as their parents and/or caregivers. I understand the importance of working closely with extended family members, teachers, caseworkers, and attorneys in order to best assess the needs of the child. My goal is to uncover the root of a child's struggles and provide clinical recommendations that give clear direction toward establishing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral stability. Each child is unique and has internal strengths that play a pivotal role in self-improvement. I strongly believe that with support and encouragement in the right direction, each child and each family can achieve positive growth and change.
